Mobile cross border agri-center for innovative practices, sustainable development and risks prevention

Through this project the branch organizations from both sides of the border get an access for themselves and for their members to mobile training seminars of leading scientists and specialists. The project budget finances the visits and consultations on place. The project realization brings in direct contact the local structures on both sides of the border and creates a non-formal warning system, which is also financed by the project. This project is directed to a co-operation with the educational centres in the region. On this way it helps in providing a better directed educational and training program with a cross border accent.The basic project focus presents the transfer of new knowledge and innovation practices and bringing them closely to each farmer. The so called mobile groups are having visits and consultations on place.Finally the project realization increases the competitiveness and helps removing the isolation of people and institutions on both sides of the border through a system of a mutual know-how transfer. Achievements: A cross border mobile agri-center for innovative practices, sustainable development and risks preventions was created. A cross border two day seminar "Management of innovative agricultural practices" in Kirklareli was organized. A cross border two day conference "Renewable plants and substracts - new sustainable source for bio-fuel production" in Burgas was organised. A cross border seminar "Informal exchange of agricultural-information and good practices and risks preventions in the border area" was carried out. Creation and maintenance of a cross border Internet platform. Mobile "on site" trainings in Turkey. "On site" mobile trainings in Bulgaria A business manual with good practices and market experience of Turkish cooperatives was prepared. The project has been successfully accomplished in June 2012.
