Mitigation of patients' burden via the application of Modern Surgical Treatments in Sz-Sz.Band Satu Mare Counties (EMESE - SzSzB - SM)

The project aims to develop the surgical infrastructure and services in both hospitals (the hospitals from Nyíregyháza and Satu Mare will receive modern surgical equipments which will enable the use of a less invasive approach and a faster patient recovery, while a new operating block will be installed in Satu Mare) and the establishment of a single joint protocol for surgical treatment. With the cooperation of the partners surgical procedures would improve, patients would get the necessary and adequate treatments, while neither doctors nor patients would migrate. The target groups of the project are doctors, operational assistants, technical engineers, home-care assistants, patients of the two hospitals and family members of patients who have undergone surgical interventions.
