The project “Master in a profession” is directed to 16 second class students of Construction Technical College in the name of general Grot Rowecki in Cieszyn: 12 construction technicians and 4 building and finishing works assemblers. Our project will be realized from the 1st of June 2016 till 31 May 2017 during the period of 12 months. Students will leave for two weeks foreign internships under the custody of two teachers in March 2017. Our partner of the project is Department of Promotion and Vocational Training of the Building Industry Association of Berlin and Brandenburgia. The internships will take place in a training center In Frankfurt by the Odra River. It deals with vocational training and improving professional qualifications in the building area. Joining the practices is caused by the need of increasing professional expertise of future construction workers considering the dynamic development of construction technologies as well as the need of acquiring the practical vocational experience on the high level. The main aim of our project is improving practical abilities of students in the area of dry building by the realisation of internships abroad. Students will be improving their building skills and develop key competences. Workshops of our partner are equipped with specialist machines and devices, which are not available for students in our school. They will get to know the latest technologies as well as materials applied in building and they will learn how to use new machines. The training will be guided by experienced instructors. Moreover the project will allow our students to meet new friends and improve their German. They will aquire specific knowledge and skills in the area of organizing and performing construction works, using technical devices constituting the company amenities. They will also learn how to conform to the demands of work organisation in a team and discipline obligatory for workers, appropriate organisation of a worksite, evaluating the quality of performed works, conforming to the safety, fire fighting and environmental protection rules. Before the departure the students will take part in 40 hours language-cultural-pedagogical preparation. The payee will broaden their knowledge concerning history, culture and tradition of Germany and the system of dual education. The organisation of sightseeing trips will allow trainees to learn about the culture, touristic attractions and monuments of Germany. Confirmation of the aquired abilities will be certificates Europass CV, Mobility and Language passport, which will become extra draw card in searching employment of the European job market. The participants will gain new professional expertises. Due to new experiences both vocational and intercultural these young people will reinforce their personal skills and increase their prospects of getting a job in the building area in their own country and abroad. The participation in the project will contribute to the mobility of teenagers , who will become more competitive of the local and foreign market. Realisation of the project will make a great contribution towards the increase of attractiveness of vocational education of school as well as its promotion in local environment.
