Mieux enseigner l'anglais à l'ère du numérique
Start date: Jul 1, 2014, End date: Jun 29, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

This project will allow to break the remoteness caused by the rural life of our primary school thanks to multicultural exchanges and better language learning . It will help our pupils from primary school to obtain the A1 level in English and the B2i in computing more easily, and to prepare them all on the better ways to their future secondary-school life. To reach this aim, real teamwork will be set up in our school. Constant Meetings between colleagues in order to create more connections between levels and subjects will be organized and progress in applicable English from the CP will be elaborated. The use of computer means will be put forward (Internet, Interactive whiteboard) in order to increase the cultural and linguistic exchanges with European partners through eTwinning. Our headmistress, who is already teaching English in two classrooms of her school, will apply for this training. It should allow her to improve her linguistic and cultural experience and bring back new teaching methods which can be mutualized and shared by all the members of her team. On the long term, we think that our pupils will be better prepared to go to secondary school not only on the linguistic level but also on the cultural one. This new way of teaching, more modern and attractive, will bring them a different way to consider Europe. They should have an open-mindedness on the differences and their acceptance from their youngest age.
