Prof. Janusz Groszkowski Secondary Technical School of Electrical Engineering in Bialystok is an innovational school that implements ICT, interactive communication, e-learning, e-books and the moodle system. Our priority is to educate specialists of the highest level who will be able to use their skills and qualifications, obtained during the educational process, to be competitive workers.The aim of the project titled: „International internship of Prof. Janusz Groszkowski Secondary Technical School of Electrical Engineering students – an inspiration for Professional and social competences development” is to organize a two-week internship in an international environment (Spain) for the 3-grade students of the following professions: IT and ICT specialist and digital graphic processes technician. The main goals of the mobility are: to consolidate students’ knowledge and skills learnt at school, to master professional skills, to get acquainted with labour organization at a real work place, to develop linguistic skills, as well as personal and social competences. This international internship will help the students, equipped with linguistic and professional skills, to find work more easily. It will also inspire them to continue education on a higher level. Participation in the internship will allow the students to expand their knowledge concerning international trends in IT, digital technologies and innovative approaches. It will help them to acquire attitudes and skills required in the job market, such as: the need of self-development, creativity, self-realization and open-mindedness, entrepreneurship. It will also enhance their curiosity about the world and help to create flexibility, tolerance, abilities of being communicative and solving problems. It will open them up to new experiences, increase motivation to further studying, strengthen and widen their intercultural orientation. The students will make new acquaintances and open up to international cooperation. The stay in Spain will inspire them to be active, look for new ways of self-education and be more independent in life. It will also help them to build up their self-esteem. The students’ mobility will increase the competitiveness of our school and its level of educating young people. The quality of practical training will also improve, which will help to prepare our students to enter the job market more easily.
