Start date: Aug 20, 2014, End date: Aug 19, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The "International practice in response to the challenges of the labor market" implies participation of young people studying in ZS 4 Opole in foreign practices in Italy. Practices will be covered by students in grades 2 and 3, trainees in the fields of: techniques of nutrition and food services, techniques of hotels, techniques of tourist services. Practices will attend 33 people. We predicted the dates of practices at the turn of May and June 2015 and the end of September and October 2015, which fits perfectly into the calendar practices of the school year 2014/15 and 2015/16. During the learning process, students acquire general knowledge of professional courses. However, to be effective education, basic knowledge must go together with practice and experience. At the present time, it becomes increasingly clear demand for workers who can find themselves in enterprises with foreign capitals, which is closely associated with the globalization of economic activity. The process of globalization requires the acquisition of new competencies that slowly goes beyond the obvious knowledge of foreign languages. Therefore, communication skills in foreign languages, work in teams, understanding other cultures is an important factor associated with being competitive in the labor market. The holding of foreign work experience is a definite asset to the local, regional and national labor market. At the same time, we recognize that this will be an excellent opportunity to learn tolerance and to combat stereotyping. Currently, in the province of Opole there are a large number of companies with foreign capital, both in the hotel, catering and tourism. What's more, this market is still developing. According to the research of the Laboratory of Social Sopot, employers generally expressed a positive opinion about people taking foreign practice. In their view, this type of experience teaches flexibility and ability to work in a group. People who took such practices learn quickly and are not afraid of challenges. The aim of the project is the implementation of educational mobility, thereby increasing the educational offer in our school. Expected results: -increase knowledge and skills related to professional education of students -participation in the European labor market, and thus increase the chances of students for employment after completion of education -increase the self-esteem of students and belief in their own abilities and the development of entrepreneurship -increase awareness of students about the benefits of school education -increase students' awareness of the benefits of learning foreign languages -increase social competence -educational schools offer more attractive and increase its competitiveness in the education market The management will be strengthen through the use of computerised planning and reporting systems supporting project management leading in savings in costs, time and workload. Basis of the communication will be phone and skype conversation as well as e-mail.
