Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

The goal of the project “International portal for youth organizations” is to develop a unique international portal – a tool that will help those organizations be more attractive and conspicuous, will strengthen partnerships between student’s organizations and will motivate young people to take part in social entrepreneurship and to learn and train new skills thanks to the membership in youth organizations. We are expecting involving of whole youth sphere as a target group of this project. Young people and school students from each educational level can use the portal to find information about youth acitivities on the international level. The innovative part of the project is represented by specified module Alumni and module Humanita which will be open for all young people. The project is going to be realized within the partnership between Academic Centre for Students Activities (ACSA) from Czech Republic and SRVS obcianske zdruzenie (SRSV) from Slovakia. The idea of this project is based on our own experience with youth organizations and young people involved. There is a huge necessity in interconnection between youth organizations, students and educational institutes which will help young people to be involved not only in national activities but also in international grants. Both partners work with youth people and students, but their activities are different. ACSA is supporting volunteer, social entrepreneurship and development of personal skills, SRVS is focusing on active citizenship and political initiatives of young people. We want to create ICT tool which would support young people and students in their exceptional activities and help them with exchange of good practices, and enable cooperation on international level. We are not proposing just a simple web page. We will implement a complex information system which includes international database of youth and student’s organizations and system of functions and modules focused on interconnection of users and organizations. The core of the portal will be complete database of organizations with exhaustive list of activities – young people will be able to join the database, register their organizations, create profile of the organizations, add new content, promote their activities, etc. Portal will be also a useful virtual mobility tool enabling organizations to find partners, contact them and collaborate with them online. The portal will be open also for unregistered young users. They will be able to use the content, see that activities which they could join, discuss issues with each other or ask organizations questions. We want to motivate people to take part in student’s activities and to join youth organizations or to participate in humanitarian activities; therefore the portal will include a unique module that will connect young people with humanitarian organizations. They will be offered to participate in their activities based on their preferences and possibilities.Another important part of project activities in our partnership will include conferences and disseminations activities promoting social entrepreneurship, ICT competences and active citizenship.
