METODOLOGÍA AICLE PARA EL PROFESORADO DEL PROYECTO BILINGÜE

Rodriguez Delgado Secondary School is located in Ronda, Malaga. The population is approximately 38,000 inhabitants. The main economic activities are tourism and commerce. At levels of Secondary Education and Vocational, IES Dr. Rodriguez Delgado offers their students since 2008-2009 academic education with an added value, as far as language is concerned and multiculturalism. Since joining the Bilingual Project, three of its teachers have reached a level of English B2 according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages; two teachers have updated their English in summer courses; School signs have been translated into English and French; activities such as Christmas cards have been made in two or three languages; annually, the center has received American sistants to support their teaching; 3rd year students travel to London for a week; there is an exchange of teachers and students with a school in Bristol. The School, in short, has benefited in recent years from this linguistic and cultural openness. Eva María Luque de Diego requested taking part in the Bilingual Project for the Commerce studies in 2006. She studied Business Administration and has a permanent position in the school, as a teacher of Organization and Sales Management. She has C1 English and German B1 levels . Since the program started she has attended summer courses in Brighton, Dublin, Portsmouth and Scarborough updating therefore her linguistic and methodological skills . She has also followed an online course of Content and Language Integrated Learning organized by the Centre for Teachers of Marbella. She has taken part in a Lingua, two Comenius and a Gruntvig project.. Furthermore she has supervised her students in two Leonardos (Prague and Sofia, respectively). Since the 2013-2014 school year she is Head of the Department of Training, Evaluation and Innovation and responsible of preparing the School Training Plan. During these two years, he has tried unsuccessfully to get specific and quality bilingual training update. 1 Mobility for this teacher is requested, which further training of other members of the Project is expected. It is a course of 12 days in Edinburgh in August on CLIL (Content and Integrated Language Learning) methodology. The teacher has been selected by her colleagues on February 2, 2015. Prior to her mobility, she will study Scottish culture with their students and collect the materials used in the classroom for presentation to other countries participating teachers. The short-term impact is expected on the educational team currently participating in Bilingualism; medium term, her students and those members of the School that will be added to the Project (an extension of lines involved is expected) ; and in the long term, about the organization, to encourage other colleagues to apply for these projects and even create a consortium with other teachers from countries of the European Union that have similar programs in their curricula.
