The crisis occurred in European economy has caused an increase in high young unemployed rate and low level of graduated employment day by day and therefore it has increased the need for qualified work force.In the business market having limited job opportunities and lots of graduated people, employment of qualified and skilful staffs comes forward. The effect of vocational high schools is great in producing qualified work force.However mostly growing up can’t be done according to the needs of business market,in these high schools too. So there is always a graduated accumulation.In this situation\ individuals need to have different abilities, except for vocational information and skills, which will be a reason for being chosen. In our country which is on the paths of European Union, one of the most important of these abilities is language skill which will provide employment in abroad when it is needed and open the way to Europe. Teaching language in our country has always been a problem from past to these days. Either our students have prejudgment about learning language or the language we teach isn’t beyond the grammatical structures. This problem shows itself in vocational high schools more. Almost none of the vocational high school students can speak a foreign language when they graduate. This cause a problem for the future integration of our country which is a candidate for European Union.Under the guidance of Europe 2020, we , as a vocational high school, give importance to have European dimension and to grow staffs who are qualified in all aspects for business world.In this sense\ beside the vocational education that we give, we want them to be preferable in business world and to gain foreign language skills that will provide them to be able to work productively in abroad, too. Except for this, in respect of internationalism, foreign language education should be at a high level.We should make difference in this aspect.However that we are both a new vocational high school and we have inadequate physical opportunities (crowded classes,insufficient visual and auditory materials) in our school leaves all the responsibility to our foreign language teachers in teaching language. Especially in this kind of environment that is not appropriate for foreign language teacher’s creativity comes forward.The resolution of indoor classroom problems is only possible with the teachers who can look the events from different sides and differently.Because of this, we think that rising the teaching skills of our teachers, bringing them a refreshness, increasing their motivation and acquiring new education methods and techniques for them are necessary.Therefore we can grow up students who are more qualified, preferable in business world and who can speak foreign language.On the purpose of teaching foreign language better, attendance of our three teachers to the course under the name of ‘creativity in the classroom’which is two weeks long and has 44 hours of training at Bell English in The United Kingdom is a project which will be beneficial for,especially, our school,our teachers,students and by the help of planned disseminations for wider masses. Besides, our project other outcomes:providing opportunity for post-course dissemination of good practice to other teachers at local and national level,Increased understanding of how to foster quality improvements to teaching and learning,presentenging opportunities to promote innovative teaching and practice internationally,development of linguistic skills and intercultural awareness,enhancement of international cooperation and development in education.Our project will be directed by a project team and it will be evaluated by them.Our project will show a development from inside to outside. At first sight, it will be expected to make difference in our school.Our short-term results and benefits are qualified staffs with a better English education, teachers who are creative,motivated can solve problems and improve themselves and an institution which turns his face to the Europe. Our long–term results and benefits are advantageous individuals in business market, awareness about the teaching foreign language around the province and nation, increasing the importance of teaching foreign language in vocational high-schools, producing new techniques in teaching English.
