Membership of Volunteering Experience!
Start date: Apr 1, 2013,

The project “Membership Of Volunteering Experience!” is designed to young people especially with fewer opportunities coming from difficult backgrounds between ages of 18-30. The youngsters will have the possibility to go abroad for a period from 2 to 10 months to practice or gain new skill and live in the new community. EFM is going to implement the project together with partner organizations from Vietnam, Italy, Dominican Republic, India, Thailand and others. The priority of the “MOVE!” project is the promotion of intercultural and European awareness, the realization of the idea of tolerance, respect and openness for differences, the fight against the social exclusion, xenophobia and racism. Young people from different and difficult backgrounds will meet representatives of other nationalities, religion and tradition, political orientation and sexual preferences. The common work and one aim will bring them closer and will give the chance to build the friendship among the countries from the whole world. Young people will try their hand at the volunteers in different institution: schools, kindergartens, common rooms, youth centers, culture centers, orphanages and social help centers. They will overcome their personal and language barriers and discover their talents, hobbies and advantages. The time spent abroad will bring the volunteers a lot of benefits: self-trust, self-confidence, personal satisfaction, new skills and belief to changing the life situation. The project will concentrate to involve young people and local community from rural and urban area. The less developed regions have to cope with high unemployment, poverty and consequences of social exclusion like crime, drug and alcohol abuse. The frustrated young people without perspectives especially need motivations, additional attention and chance to change the life. EFM and partner organization believe that the “MOVE!” project can change the life of 30 involved young people from difficult backgrounds.
