This project is aimed at improving the competence in linguistic communication in the second language, understood as improving the capacity of making CLIL activities of the teachers staff.Manuel Reina High School, from Puente Genil (Córdoba) is a state secondary high school with a student body belonging to the centre of the town. Puente Genil is a town located in the south-occidental part of the province of Córdoba. More specifically, in an area known as "Campiña Sur cordobesa". In Puente Genil, there are around thirty thousand inhabitants who live in the same town and in several boroughs belonging to it.As far as Manuel Reina High School is concerned it has been a bilingual school since 2005/2006. Besides, the subject of French as a second language is also offered to its students. There are 68 professors.Eight hundreds and ten pupils are studying during this academic year (2015/2016) in this secondary school. They are distributed as follows: there are ten bilingual sections, eight of whom belong to secondary education and the other two sections to bachillerato. To sum up, we have 299 pupils who are studying in the bilingual programme.Eight different subject areas are participating in the bilingual programme. Ther are divided into five non-linguistic areas, which are, Mathematics, Philosophy, History and Geography, Music and Classical languages. On the other hand, ther are three linguistic areas, English and French as secondary languages and Spanish language and literature.It is important to highlight that this school is one of the few state schools where we can find a bilingual section in Bachillerato too. Furthermore, the ITC programme is also running in Manuel Reina Secondary School from the academic year 2007/2008, with two computer sooms with portable laptops avilable in each floor of the two buildings.Only after analysing all these data, the target of this project can be fully understood. The key issue is the necessity to improve the linguistic competence of English as a foreign language, understood as improving the capacity of making CLIL activities of the teachers staff. It has been selected one course, which will be take place at Cheltenham, in the United Kingdom, that runs in this matter, and that will be divided some sessions, on the one hand for Science and Maths teachers, and in the other hand for Humanistic Teachers.About the methodology, this project has been carried out by the creation of the International Projects Comission of the secondary school. The teachers who make up the comission are: the headmaster, the secretary, the head of the Erasmus + programme, the head-teacher of the department of evaluation, training and innovation, the head of the bilingual project and the head-teachers of the differents curricular areas. They have decided about the main topics to deal with in this first KA1. Besides, the criteria to select the courses and the participants have been select by them too.By attending these courses, one of the main targets is the improvement of the capacity of making CLIL activities of the teachers staff.It is expected an important impact both in the teachers who are going to do the international courses, but also in the rest of the teachers in the school, because it is expected that these improvements will be known by all the centre staff, by its divulgation.Finally, we have to keep in mind that the true final adresse of these improvements are our students, who will benefits from teachers with a better knowledge on their subjects, both in the bilingual programme both in general.
