Due to the main issues of the School Educational Project that we are about to develop in our high school, the application of this project claims: - To improve and acquire the tools and methods of work when dealing with diversity project. - To develop the current linguistic project in the school and to extend it to another foreign language. To improve the teachers' linguistic competence. - To strengthen the European Dimension and the multicultural competence of our students, emphasizing some values such as the tolerance and respect towards the cultural diversity and religion. - Introduction of the use of Information Technologies as a necessary tool in the teaching-learning process. -To boost the library and the resource centre. The participants are highly motivated. They are committed with their work, their future in the centre and the level of foreign languages. They should have a long term dedication to give stability to this project. They want to boost Information Technology, plurilingual learning and to give all this an European dimension, at the same time providing strategies and the necessary methodologies to improve their professional competence. We have planned: - To attend and jobshadow: Kumport Ortaokulu y Gymnazium Bilingvalne. - To collaborate with the responsible of the research centre. - To assist to the CLIL course in Exeter. - Taking into account the places we are going to visit, the teachers' goal will be to watch and learn, whereas our partners school will go on with their daily routines. Long term benefits, expected outcome and impact: - To improve the quality of the school. - The use of new methods to deal with diversity. - To increase the number of subjects in a foreign language in an efficient way. - To use new teaching methodologies. - Bringing up to date the library. - To continue with future students interchanges among all the schools involved. - To show the results to the school board, the teacher training centre and the society through speech lectures, blogs, newspaper articles, etc.
