Meisterdame maailma paremaks
Start date: May 1, 2011,
The aim of the project is to introduce different global and environmental issues to residents of small towns in Estonia. During the first part of the project in May and June 2011 approximately 30 to 45 youngsters will be involved in seminars discussing environmentally friendly lifestyles and generating ideas on how to change everyday consumption more responsible and innovative. The ideas will be gathered together and published as a brochure. These will then be distributed in June and July during information meetings at fairs and festivals away from the usual central regions where a specially decorated bus will be set up. Approximately 1000 people are expected to be influenced during the project. As an outcome the project team sees growth in awareness of the effects of an individual's behaviour on his or her surrounding environment as well as further parts of the world.
