"Meet the European diversity. Cultural education for all" is a long-term (1o months) EVS project, carried out by the Primary School number 64 in Łódź, Kindergarten number 118 in Łódź Kindergarten number 126 in Łódź and ssociation cKameleon from Zgierz, with help and support of coordinating -organisation- association Kobiety.lodz.pl. 8 volunteers hosted in the project are comming from: Hungary, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Turkey."Meet the European diversity. Cultural education for all" is a response to the needs of the local community of Łódź and Zgierz in the context of international and intercultural exchange (according to the idea of "lifelong learning").The main objectives of the project are consistent with the objectives of the Erasmus + key action 1: -The main objectives of the project are:-supporting project participants (volunteers, coordinators and employees of partner organizations, the direct and indirect beneficiaries of individual organizations) in improving key competences: communication in foreign languages, to communicate in native language, interpersonal, cultural expression, entrepreneurship and other - uniting through diversity - improving participant's language skills, according to the objective of the EU concerning enable each citizen to be able to learn from an early age at least 2 foreign languages- Promoting mobility and cooperation between the participants and all parties of the project- Increasing knowledge and awareness about countries, cultures, traditions, customs and characteristics of volunteer's countries and to develop a sense of citizenship and European identity, while developing a sense of national identity of participants- facilitating networking between local and international organizations, and as a consequence - increase in activity and openness to participation in social life- Supplementing participant's educational process (based on formal education) with non-formal education methods- promoting the improvement of the quality of work for young people through local and international network of partner organizations participating in the project.Volunteers will share gained / improved skills, abilities and knowledge they got during the project, during the third edition of the Festival International Boat of Culture / International Boat Culture. At the same time the festival will be a great opportunity to disseminate project results to a wider audience on national and international level.
