. Background Description: Children are spending lot of their time at the disposal and under the influence of media. Media studies have shown that children from pre-school and primary school also particularly prone to media influence due to little life experience and direct experience of the world. Media offers both positive and negative experience; therefore, teachers 'and parents' aim is to guide and supervise children, so that they can make choices, to take critically media messages, developing positive values.2. Objectives of the project: 2 .1.To map teachers' competences and training needs of the media before the start of the project. 2.2. To provide teachers with international experience in mobility and course in Estonia based on topics: the importance of media literacy for children and adults, its development tools and techniques opportunities to practice different activities in the field of media, media threats and opportunities, easier handling of computer programs and technical aids. 2.3. To develop children media literacy through variety of educational activities: positive values, critical evaluation of media. 2.4. To establish a practical activity idea-file for teachers for effective carry -out of media education, to help teachers and children to develop their social skills, creativity, critical thinking and analytical skills. 2.5. To add into kindergarten curriculum part of media education section aiming to develop and shape correct values and behavior of children. 2.6. To provide teachers with international experience in mobility and practices through eTwinning project, in order to be aware of what is happening in Europe at the level of media work with children; to gain positive international approval for team members for their work on media field. 2.7. To teach teachers implement a variety of technical aids, such as simple computer programs, presentations, and other web-based compilation of outputs, video and photo processing into their work with children. 2.8. To introduce parents and to analyze with them children media literacy problematic situations, propose ways to develop children's media literacy through open activities, progress reports, briefings. 2.9. To introduce publicly completed materials and media work in institution, to draw attention to media education for institutions at national level in order to encourage/target different educational institutions to develop curriculum for media education.The number of participants and profile: Mobility action involves one teacher, who has previously been engaged in a variety of media approaches within kindergarten, she is projects development group leader, has coordinated 2 Comenius projects, published media related articles and a number of Web-based solutions (outcomes), carried out presentations within Haabersti district and Tallinn`s children institution.Impact: 1. Teachers have acquired knowledge and practical skills related to media topic.2. Teachers have carried out media-related educational activities for children, presented opportunities in the media field, positive and negative effects of media, shaped positive values and developed media literacy of children in cooperation with parents.3. Teachers implement more new and children's activity involving techniques (active learning): use more media capabilities, a variety of computer programs and technical aids; communicate within different portals with teachers to share new experiences and gain positive feedback.4. Teachers in the project have gained experience in participating in the complementation of curriculum with media education part and in project work team.5. Tallinn Nurmenuku Kindergarten teachers, parents and Haabersti/Tallinn children institutions have become more aware of media impact for adults and children, are able to understand and feel more critically towards media, are able to make right choices. Parents monitor and direct children's activities in the field of media more conciously.Effects on kindergarten: 1. Tallinn Nurmenuku Kindergarten has gained an experience in project coordination at the international level, the teachers have shared their learning experiences.2. Improved cooperation skills through eTwinning project work at the European level. We will continue to spread our kindergarten work experience and to introduce new educational ideas and trends in Estonia.3. The team has performed joint activities and is more open to cooperation, both internally, nationally and in international scale.Presentation of project activities. Project activities and materials prepared will be introduced in Haabersti district and Tallinn city area children's institutions, eTwinning environment, in Facebook within kindergarten teachers community group; Information materials and completed work will be added into kindergarten website, with links to different outputs; teachers write about media materials and completed work in journalism (Internet magazine Lasteaed
