Mediterranean Network for E-Government (MEDeGOV)

MEDeGOV focuses on the utilization of IT, ICTs and other web-based telecommunication technologies to improve and/or enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery in the public sector. In particular, the project aims to foster the adoption of eGovernment practices by local and regional authorities of the Mediterranean area through the development of pilot eGovernment platforms and the support to the redesign of public services delivery. Expected Results: • Increased number of public services offered online through pilot eGovernment platforms • Increased number of users utilizing online public services • Higher efficiency of administrations involved in the delivery of public services • Raised stakeholders awareness concerning the benefits of eGovernement
