Második lépés - Second step
Start date: Aug 1, 2014, End date: Dec 31, 2014 PROJECT  FINISHED

The „Second step” Programme is organized by the Municipial and School Library of Noszvaj as continuation of the programme „Youth entrepreneurship on island” in Estonia on Hiiumaa island organized by Kärdla Open Youth Centre and Emmaste Open Youth Centre in October 2013. Noszvaj is a small community in North Hungary with beautiful scenery but without industrial undertakings, where agriculture and tourism offer limited work opportunity for the local people. The aim of the programme is the development of the affinity for entrepreneurship of young people, to introduce opportunities how they can earn their living staying in their village. We would like to present to our Estonian partners those chances, which the Hungarian countryside offers for their young residents. Our objective is to show examples for our Hungarian and Estonian participants, how the sustaining force of the country can be improved with the help of traditional values, sustainable methods, competitive solutions and with the production and sending local goods to the markets of big cities. The programme starts with a preparatory meeting 4-6 August 2014. Main activities of the programme will take place in Hungary between 3-10 October 2014 in Noszvaj, in Heves County. From Estonia 10 participants and 3 colleagues are received by 10 Hungarian participants and 3 Hungarian attendants. During the 8 days participants can get direct experiences of the different forms of entrepreneurship in special economic sectors, like tourism undertakings – like managing accommodation, small agricultural operations e.g. winery, fruit processing. Important are the short term results of the project: development of communication skills in foreign language, improvement of creative and cooperative behavior forms, ability of working and thinking together, raising interest in the European Union countries, awareness-raising of partnership and common thinking within the European Union. In the long run the programme will assist participants in development of entrepreneurial view, self confidence, knowledge of opportunities to become successful entrepreneurs, when reaching active working age. As a result of the project the solidarity between the nations and the European cohesion may improve.
