Start date: Feb 1, 2011,

We are aiming at producing an exhibition about the last social housing project for the youth onSödermalm, Stockholm The house is to be torn down without any other offers being presented for theyouth living there. In it’s place there will be constructions of new expensive residential houses forwealthy people. We want to make a mark and to produce historical evidence of this house and it´sinhabitants, before it is too late. This house is a part of an era that is soon to be gone, and it is tellingthe history of Södermalm as it once was - a multi cultural urban district with people of different ranksand roots.By doing interviews with the tenants and by photographing the small but interesting apartments wewant to make portraits of their lives in the house and capture something that is often forgotten. Thedisappointment of the youth is big, but also the pride of being the special crowd, in that special housethat looks like no other. We want to involve all tenants in the project and together create a souvenir ofwhat once was,Our house is very lively, and we refuse to let it go quietly..
