PROJECT SUMMARY With the changes in our everyday life and the new requirements of the new multicultural environment our educational goals keep changing by introducing intercultural skills both for our teachers and our pupils. Project management skills needs also to be improved and expanded. Intercultural skills are a multidisciplinary competence and an essential part of Europe open school. These skills should be learned in intercultural training courses and project management training courses. We consider important the fact that our participants wil co exist during the training time together with teachers of other countries so that the cross cultural learning would be a holistic experience that would include, apart from training time, also the remaining free time. This would potentially create bonds that might become the beginning of different kind of partnerships like e-Twinning, job shadowing. project collaborations. PROJECT GOALS -Improvement of intercultural skills and project management skills of teachers. NUMBER AND PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS The 2 participants should: -be willing to attend training courses abroad -have sufficient language skills -be willing to spread the acquired knowledge to their colleagues and others -be willing to integrate the European idea in teaching DESCRIPTION OF MEASURES -Participation in intercultural project management training courses METHDOLOGY FOR PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION Intercultural courses shall be implemented in lesson sand management skills will be applied in European projects DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPECTED RESULTS, EFFECTS AND POTENTIAL LONG TERM BENEFITS The seminar experience will boost the motivation for intercultural learning and intercultural cooperation, as a result the involvement in European projects would be more effective. The training will enable participating teachers to inspire their colleagues for participation in European projects and at the same time to enhance our children`s intercultural, language and social skills. By expanding these skills our children will be better prepared in the future to live and grow in the European Union as european citizens among other cultures.
