Management of the rescue operations and the European rescue number operating system. (PL - LT 112)

The overall goal of the strategic project is to establish safe environment for the society living in the Polish–Lithuanian borderland. One of the most important objectives of the project is to improve communication between the rescue services in the borderline region while using the emergency number 112. Expected Results: In order to achieve this, the existing rescue centers will be equipped with all the necessary means for ensuring high quality services for customers. The emergency calls from the rescue centers will be redirected to the appropriate institutions, such as police, emergency service or state fire services. As a result of the project, the new and compatible information rescue system of the emergency number 112 will be created. The project will be implemented in Podlaskie and Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodships on the Polish side and in Alytus and Marijampolė counties in Lithuania. At the same time the Project partners will develop practical knowledge on providing rescue services in different emergency situations.
