Make Yourself del'ArT
Start date: May 1, 2015,
End date: Sep 30, 2015
The project "Make yourself del'ArT" deals with healthy and sustanaible lifestyle.
Our aim is to gain a new optimistic perspective to overcome the economic, ecological and human crisis, recovering the experience of nature, a closer contact between producers and consumers, the sense of community and the habits and knowledges of past generations. We think that to reach our aim it is necessary to think globally as the healthy and sustainable lifestyle is a combination of different factors like a good alimentacion, movement, responsible consume but also the care for social contacts. We want our participants to become conscient of the importante of traditions like handcrafts or vegetable gardens and respect for the nature.
7 different countries, each one with 1 leader (2 from Spain) and 6 youngs aged between 18 and 30, will travel to Spain to reflect about our lifestyle and to analyze the differences between urban and rural lifestyle, trying to find out the positive aspects of each one.
At the same moment we will foster the creativity and the relationships within the group, organizing different activities. In the first days of the exchange we will focus on building the group and on the personal development doing games, sports and an excursion to the nature. Then we will introduce the theme of the consumism and the importance of a responsible consume, the participants will be shown different creative techniques to manifacture their own products. Finally we will realize an installation and some performances to involve the inhabitants of the village. In this way the people will get in contact with the problematics dealt with in the project, with other cultures and the opportunities offered by the European Union.
The effect will be the creation of a new network between participants and organizations from different countries, the exchange of ideas and experiences, the personal development of the participants and the aquaintance of new knowledges and competences.
Hopefully, at the end of the project we will be able to change our habits into more sustainable and healthier ones.
