The objective of pupils and staff participation in mobility is to obtain practical experience what the school is unable to provide them at school. Second goal of the project is the development of teaching marketing and business, and improving the quality of learning, the expansion of the knowledge of pupils and educational staff from the experiences of European enterprises and educational institutions. During the project, students and educators gain practical knowledge about the marketing of eco-tourism, the tourism sector, small business organization. Mobility is built up by applying the modern formal and non-formal learning methods. Students get immediate experience, learn and practice under supervision of a mentor, tutor and tourism marketing specialist. The project partner is Wind Bird Lda - an ecotourism company that embraces the principles of sustainable tourism, contributing to the conservation and interpretation of the natural heritage of Madeira's Archipelago. The project will develop key competences for lifelong learning, such as foreign languages, science and technology bases, use of information technology, learning to learn, social and civic competences, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, cultural awareness and expression. The project will be implemented within one year from July 2014 until June 2015. Target group are students of the marketing specialist and small business curricula and teachers Tallinn School of Economics. 30 students and 8 teachers will participate in the motilities of the project. The project establishes a link between the cultures; develop language and professional skills to successfully cope with the labor market. The main activity is the mobility of the marketing and small business students to the island of Madeira, where the host institution is the Wind Birds Lda. The mobility lasts 1-2 weeks. To assess the achievement of the project aims, students will defend their reports of practical training. Trainees are required to keep a practice diary, in which they describe the work performed during the practical training and the tasks to be performed, write down their observations, findings, and conclusions of their activities and organization issues. Practical training will be assessed by the supervisor in the school and / or school administration representative. The project impacts at the local, regional, national and European level: - At the local level, preparing the students at a level that allows them to be competitive specialist . Students, teachers and professional staff are fluent in foreign languages. Willingness for continuation of studies has grown significantly and self-esteem has increased. - At regional level is to provide modern practical vocational training, competing with other professional schools, and to provide the best knowledge, skills and practical training opportunities for students and teachers. - At national level, could have an impact on innovative teaching methods, on motivating teachers and education professionals and students.
