The integration of the European economy and growing cross-border acting enterprises demand European instruments in Human Resources Development and Competence Development.Management and Specialist Certificates for managers were developed by the pilot project ESO-CSA. The procedure of the proof of qualification, essential for the certification, is the 3-stage CEMES - competence evaluation method, which was awarded by Helsinki Award 2006 in the category transparency and recognition of competencies. According to this method an online-based and outcome-oriented competence evaluation platform was developed by the project ESO-CRS.The CEMES- method and CEMES- competence evaluation platform shall be adapted and transferred for LdV project of transfer in the field of maintenance.The management of maintenance processes requires complex and interdisciplinary competencies.
