This eight days study-visit will provide a platform for starting new partnerships and developing new youth projects. It will tabe place in Macedonia and include 26 people from Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Latvia, Estonia, Spain and Turkey. The participants, youth workers and coordinators of international exchange, will visit various Macedonian organizations, which are working with the Vouth in Action Programme or are interested to start to work with Vouth in Action in nearest future, as well as explore and exchange best youth work practices and the most successful project ideas. Special focus will be putted on organizations working with minorities and anti-discrimination projects. Thus the participants within the framework of this study visit will explore projects and methods, which are implemented in Macedonia to promote ethnic integration and inclusion of minorities, and contribute to the work of local organizations trough sharing knowledge and experience from their countries. Case-studies, site-visits, expert presentations, panel discussions will be used to facilitate non-formal learning process. The participants will have a chance to explore Macedonia through visiting several organizations, projects and cities, and apart from networking they will create projects within the Vouth in Action program that would strengthen the cooperation between SEE and EU countries. The program of the study visit includes also panel discussions and workshops that aim to raise awareness about cultural and social specific of South Eastern Europe and puts in the center work with young people coming from conflict areas and cooperation among young people from ethnical and national groups with unsolved conflicts and (or) negative attitudes and prejudices towards each other.
