The phenomenon of youth unemployment today is added to the growth in the number of ' NEET ' ( Not in Education , Employment or Training) , young people between 15 and 29 years no longer in an educational or training nor engaged in an activity working . Through the active participation of 6 EVS volunteers , the project MEET (More Education , Employment or Training) seeks to foster the development of soft skills in young people with fewer opportunities in general and of NEET , as an element in order to restore confidence and motivation in looking for opportunities to study and work and as a basis for the exercise of active citizenship. It also aims to contribute to the learning process of the volunteers involved , while developing a sense of belonging to a new community , as an exercise of European citizenship , solidarity and intercultural dialogue between young people from different countries as a basis for the development of a inclusive Europe . The volunteers, from Romania, Germany , Spain and France will be welcomed at 4 host organizations in the Province of Vicenza engaged in activities to promote the social inclusion of all young people and will be involved in support for boys / girls with social and family problems , homeless young people or immigrants. The method of work will be involved both in terms of the cooperation between the partners for the implementation of activities of the volunteers , who will be able to create a personal project based on their skills and interests. Group dimension will be very important as an element of peer support between volunteers and for a mutual growth through the creation of a common training (Welcome training) and a transversal project aimed at creating 4 Job Club , groups of young people looking for employment , meeting and socializing with the support of volunteers, will share ideas and strategies for finding work and training opportunities and study becoming more aware of and strengthening their soft skills . The project will have a positive impact in terms of knowledge sharing , learning , practice and motivation on the volunteers , the partner organizations and young people with fewer opportunities involved , creating synergy , network , opportunities to meet and further strategic partnerships to build an integrated system inclusion at European level. The title of the project M.E.E.T. wishes to emphasize that it is necessary to reverse the negative concept which indicates young people are no longer engaged in research work or placed in courses of study / training , moving from the concept of NEET to MEET or to promote opportunities for interaction between boys / girls , they can create " more " (more) occasions for them to be active, both through the enhancement of their skills, that through the study of the territory of the opportunities made possible thanks to socialize with other kids who share their knowledge in theme of training and work.
