Implementation of the project will involve more than 3000 people (literary people, artists, library users). They will get improved places of public use: open-air reading space - stage near the Vilani library, open-air stage in Karsava and renovated library in Shlisselburg. New, stronger international literary and artistic group will introduce the final products (a blog and a book) to wider audience and will attract new participants to their groups thus making a solid basis for sustainability of the project results. Achievements: Outputs*6 library rooms renovated and entrance of the library accustomized for people with special needs, wheelchairs in Shlisselburg (Russia); *Open-air stage for 700 persons built in Karsava (Latvia); *Open-air reading place – stage (for 50 persons) with lighting installation constructed near the library in Vilani (Latvia); *6 local and 3 international Literate-Artist meetings organised in Karsava, Vilani and Shlisselburg with more than 350 participants; *3 international competitions arranged for the best lyrics and art work in Vilani, Karsava and Shlisselburg with 263 participants; *International teleconference for local writers, artists and musicians organised in Vilani, Karsava and Shlissleburg with 93 participants; *Modern multimedia equipment and technical devices purchased for high-quality electronic communication in Vilani, Karsava and Shlisselburg; *Media Library as virtual branch of the Russian Museum established where more than 300 movies about art available; *1 project book “Forget a Hurry!” published about municipalities, project and poetry, prose and artwork of local artists; *5-day international summer camp “Art without Borders” organised in Karsava; *Internet blog “Forget a Hurry!” established to present the project news and artwork of local writers and artists - http://shlb-library.livejournal.com/; *1 final conference of the project organised in Shlisselburg; *5 stories about the project reflected in TVResults*Improved infrastructure and modernised conditions for literates and artists, local inhabitants has enliven cultural life in Shlisselburg (Russia), Vilani, Karsava (Latvia); *Number of people visiting Shlisselburg library increased for 30% in a year due to renovation of rooms, access created for disabled people and diverse culture programme; *Best poems and artwork from 3 international competitions are chosen and published in a book “Forget a Hurry”; Internationally popularised poetry, prose and artwork of writers, artists of border region of Latvia and Russia; *Creative ideas exchanged by immediate communication via teleconferences between 93 representatives from Shlisselburg, Vilani and Karsava municipalities; *Strenghtened potential and amplified creative capacity of local literate and artist groups in border area of Latvia and Russia; Project results, literature and art potential in project region presented to 173 participants of the conference as well to inhabitants of the region via TVbroadcast and media
