Loudly mobility: organize, play, communicate
Start date: May 4, 2015, End date: May 3, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

Loudly Mobility is a project aimed at forstering intercultural dialogue and the participation of young people in society through volunteering. The project will give 2 youngsters the possibility of making a 10 months EVS mobility experience in Forlì, a town which recorded in the latest years the growing presence of different European cultures, mostly due to the Campus of the University of Bologna. Therefore in Forlì we find many youngsters which studies, have an internship period or volunteer, making this a perfect environment for intercultural dialogue and exchange among the different cultures. Although this cultural richness there are few opportunities for young people to participate in moments of exchange, and the local organizations like Koiné working with youngsters in their everyday activities lack of competences for broadening the European dimension of their work. The national partners Uniser and Koiné have been involved in fostering active citizenship in local context for many years through mobility, this project will allow to further develop the European dimension of this activities with the collaboration of Agorà cultural which operates in the same field in Valencia. The projects has three specific objectives: 1) Promoting the creation of moments of exchange and dialogue among young people from different European countries 2) Increasing the European dimension of youth organization working in local contexts by enhancing the networking skills of youth workers 3) Improving the level of key competences of participants, through a quality volunteering experience which allow their personal and professional development. The participants will be selected among young people who are very motivated in learning of another culture. They will have to be open to work with international and Italian students and ready to live into a multicultural, multilingual and dynamic environment. Through this project the participant will have the opportunity to know how a student association works and acquired some key competences which will be recognized through the Youthpass certificate as well as the Europass CV. After the selection phase, participants will be followed in the preparation phase before and after the departure. Volunteers will be supported in Italy by a tutor in the hosting organization and a mentor in the coordinating organization. Weekly meetings will be arranged with the mentor and the tutor to evaluate the mobility experience. Dissemination will be targeted mostly to young people, moment for disseminating the experience of the volunteers will be arranged by all the parters in the context of their ordinary activities and at the end of the mobilities. Here participants will be asked to tell their stories to other young people and organizations in order to raise awareness on EU identity and stimulate the participation of young people in society. Other means of communications will be used to spread the word about the project and active citizenship just like websites and the local radio "Koinéffem". Loudly Mobility will impact young people who participate in many ways, mostly through an improvement of their key competence which will favor their personal development but also their future employability. The experience is expected to stimulate the volunteers and give them new impulses for studying or finding an occupation in the short term. The organizations involved, and youth workers in particular will benefit form the project by increasing their competences in management of mobility and improving the communication skills with other organizations on Europe. The issue of recognition of competences learned in non formal and informal education will be brought up with the higher education providers which are parters of Koiné and Uniser.
