Start date: Feb 1, 2015, End date: Nov 1, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

"Lived Happily Ever After: A Journey With Strangers" is a semi-outdoor training course organized in Bakuriani, Georgia during Summer 2015. The training course involves participants from Germany, Georgia, Estonia, Spain, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Armenia and Italy. The project aims to train youth workers and youth leaders in becoming outdoor enthusiasts and know how to create and lead outdoor activities that address anti-discrimination, tolerance and fighting prejudice for young people. The training course will help youth leaders to discover how experiential learning can contribute to creating a more inclusive and positive work atmosphere and assist youth workers and youth leaders in working with youngsters from diverse backgrounds. The project will gather 32 youth leaders and youth workers, 2 trainers and 3 support staff from participating countries representing the majority and minority of these countries for one challenge - to work together as a group in an outdoor environment and be in charge of their own success and outcome. The training course will consist of three stages: building a team, living the outdoor experience, evaluating and assessing personal and group outcome. By this training course we aim to assist in development of more competent and confident youth leaders who can create outdoor activities for youngsters and address the issues of discrimination, prejudice in an outdoor setting.
