"LISTENING TO YOUNG CHILDREN"

The project was aimed at professionalizing the work with children, based on an innovative approach, the concept of "Listening to young children". The project seeked to create expertise transfer from Greece to create country specific frameworks for Poland, Cyprus and Bulgaria for conceptualizing "Listening to young children" in order to support professionals to address these new needs in a coherent manner. The crucial product of the project is multilingual on-line platform which enables developing training method on the topic of “Listening to young children” delivered via e-learning. There are two direct target groups of the project – trainers experienced in vocational training in educational sector and professionals working directly with children aged 2-6.The project was developed by consortium consisting of 4 core partners:•Comenius Foundation for Child Development (Poland)•ENOROS Consulting Ltd. (Cyprus)•Institute for Language and Speech Processing (ILSP) - Research and Innovation Centre in Information, Communication and Knowledge Technologies (Greece)•Step by Step Program Foundation (Bulgaria)•Society for the Development and Creative Occupation of Children (EADAP) (Greece) And 2 associated partners:•2nd EPAL Aigaleo (Vocational High School) (Greece)•Lions Infant and Child Care Centre of Strovolos Industrial Estate (Cyprus)Project have started on December 2010 and was implemented until December 2012.
