'LIFE builds bridges -» Voluntary Work + Cultural Exchange' is ah European¿^¡unt^ in between two organisations - Continuous Action NGO (Tallinn, Estonia), LI.F.Eľtfe/cftemospara una Infancia Feliz y con Esperanza); UGO (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and volunteers AngellRamon Casal and' Märt Miljan. Both services will start from August 2011 and will last for 12 months/onein Estonia and the other in Argentina.General aim is to promote participation, active cityzenship and tolerance, foster and strenghten mutual understanding and to enable quality free time possibilities for youth and children living in Estonia and Argentina. Also, to promote local and international co-operation.Aim of Continuous Action is to provide life-long learning and equal opportunities in Estonia and on international level to different target groups despite the age, social background and gender and therefore foster their participation. L.I.F.E. works with children and youth living in socially marginalized and extremely impoverished areas of Argentina. They offer a number of programmes and activities that strive to provide healthy development, happiness, and a hopeful future while improving the quality of life.During one year both volunteers are involved in many areas such as communication, field work', also volunteer management and general administration. They develop their social and professional skills and get more competencies for future labour market. The cooperation affords new impulse and ideas for youth work and supports intercultural learning.
