The main goal of this project is to involve the young people in activities of protection of the natural environment in a tolerant and intercultural context. While realizing activities of mainteinance of the gardens, improvement of the didactic tools, preparation of new routes for eco tourism, etc. the volunteers will know the social reality of Costa Rica and will integrate themselves in the local community, staying in direct contact with the families and the young people of this area. Thanks to this EVS, the development of the environmental education will be promoted among the children, the young people and the rest of the population of Quebradas, and of course among the European volunteers.
