Let's Play the Game: We are One!

Cape Verde, a country with a historical link with Portugal, and consequently to Europe, is the background of the project "Let's Play the Game: We are One."This is a european volunteer service project in a period of nine months, between March 1st and October 30th, which will involve five young volunteers, aged between 18 and 30, who will depart on an adventure, on African soil, with the objective of encouraging participation of young people, spirit of helpfulness and tolerance and, specialy, the spirit of inclusion and combat to prejudices and where they will work directly with children and young people from 10 to 18 years.This project aims to promote collective sports, making them a perfect analogy to the community life which must be based on participation, on inclusion of all and cooperation among all its elements, not discriminating against anyone, whether according to race, religion, ideologies, origins, sexual orientation, etc., on stimulating sports activities and workshops that would make the same analogy.During nine months, five young people from Portugal will share their experiences with the Cape Verdean young people, thus making a perfect bridge for cooperation and mutual understanding between different peoples, creating a common project, wich values the permises that we call european citizenship .
