context/background: Cervantes Training is a Teacher Training organization offering in-service training to teachers and individuals working in the education sector from all over Europe. After the workshop, we will make our school more international.
objectives: To familiarize participants on the EU funding opportunities in the context of the EU financial framework 2014-20, they will learn how to design a proposal for education, how to manage effectively, they will learn more about the basic principles in project management, ... They will learn more about the dissemination/promotion and exploitation principles of European projects. Participants will learn specific knowledge, skills, tools and instruments to design effective project proposals which enable them to effectively manage a European project in the school - 50-hour- training course- (30 hour tuition and sociocultural activities, 20 hour assignment tasks to do after the course.
profile of participants: Our staff member is a teacher of Dutch in the field of adult education and has a sincere interest for the Erasmus + programme. She will explore the possibilities to make the school more international and will organize in a team activities at our school with focus on internationalisation.
description of activities: One staff member will follow the workshop in Spain to explore together with European colleges the possibilities of Erasmus +. For detailed information on the workshop cfr. attached programme.
Afterwards, she will start up projects at our school in a team of colleges.
methodology: There will be a practical course on European Project Planning in order to know how to develop a project idea, practical simulations will be carried out. Participants will get the opportunity to mutual exchange. A first draft of a european project will be presented.
results and impact: Impact on the individual participants (new competences) and their schools (the new competences will be well disseminated across the school and integrated into the school. A European project will be set up: modernisation of the school, international openings within the school.
longer term benefits: Participants will stay in touch on-line. The trainer will also tutor the practical tasks assigned to participants after course. The participants will start up a project at their school.
