Let's job-shadow youth work in CWM and Library in Gdynia

The aim of the project was the development of partner organizations and institutions working with young people, in particular the growth of professional competences and exchange of experience and good practice between workers from Ukraine, Belarus and Poland. In the project 6 youth workers (5 people from Ukraine and 1 person from Belarus) will take part in the job-shadowing at the Center for Youth Cooperation and the Public Library in Gdynia, Poland. The project consists of two activities: A1) 2-week internship 1 person from Ukraine in the Centre of Youth Cooperation, aiming at getting to know the specifics of working with local and foreign volunteers. 1 month internship of 1 person from Belarus, aiming at gaining the knowledge about cycle of international youth project - preparation and implementation, including participation in it. A2) 2-week internship of 4 public library workers from Kremenchug in Ukraine in the Public Library in Gdynia. Participants got to know the specific nature of work in Gdynia branch with the emphasis on the EVS and activating the local youth. In the case of all actions to achieve the best educational outcomes we used a variety of tools such as elements of training, study visits in interesting institutions, direct observation of activities and workshops for the exchange of experiences. The result of the project was the development of individual and professional comepetences of youth workers from Ukraine and Belarus and all partner organizations involved in the project. Skills, experience and knowledge gained in Poland contributes to the development of the local youth in Kremenczuk and Grodno.
