Let's Cooperate for Strategic Partnerships
Start date: Aug 1, 2014, End date: Apr 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

After the opening of the new programme Erasmus+, we had initiated an international virtual working platform which aims to get to know and understand better the new offering possibilities. We would like to bring this virtual platform into a real life through the following project. The associations that are taking part in this project have been already collaborating with YouNet in the past. Thanks to the mutual trust and common interests the previous cooperation lead to the creation of this CME. The basis of this partnership is a trustful networking that is even stronger when the network is structured, active and is seeking the same goals. Therefore is the principal objective of the project to strengthen, promote and, at the same time, increase the quality of the projects throughout the process of strategic partnership creation among organizations that works in the field of ETY, addressed to the youth all across Europe, particularly referring to the topic of the support of youth employability and entrepreneurship. The sub-objectives of the project are the following: • To prepare a meeting for potential partners with diverse competencies and abilities who could bring added value for the future projects under the Erasmus+ framework • To support the organizations with lack of experience, and through this increase the cooperation and the exchange of best practice • To explore the added value of the European dimension of youth initiatives related to improving youth employability and entrepreneurship; • To boost the competencies of youth workers in the work with youngsters, especially with those with less opportunities • To discuss the ways of identification the competencies and national characters and to try to find a system which will be suitable and coherent with various EU countries • To support good practise and efficient systems for active involvement of youths based on the analysis of their needs • To share and exchange a good practice, materials and experiences in order to enhance the quality and impact of youth projects; • To test innovative practice adapted to different contexts • To improve the ways of involvement and collaboration with public bodies and other institutions in order to assure a better impact and sustainability of the future projects. • To learn and adopt new technologies in order to facilitate the communication and exchange of tools The associations that take part in this project work at various levels with youths with fewer opportunities at the local institutions. They foster processes of social re-integration: this aspect will be handled throughout the whole project. According to the general objective of the project, which is to strengthen, promote and at the same time optimize the quality of strategic partnership and its goals. The partnership is compound out of 13 partners. Each of them will send 2 participants from each country. Furthermore, there will be 2 facilitators, Italian and Spanish, and one Italian person responsible for the technical/logistical support. The participants in the CME will be people who work with youths on various levels. In some cases they will be permanent workers, in other cases people who work in associations on a voluntary basis. The activities mostly consist of presentation of the partners, group working for analysing the case studies, confronting them with Erasmus+ Programme (KA2 for youths), launching ideas for partnership structuring, elaborating the strategies and ideas for the future projects. The prevalent methodology will be non-formal: workshops, simulations, Open Space Technology, World Caffè, ice breaking/team building activities, working in smaller groups and round tables. The CME will have strong impact on the cooperation among associations and countries and implementation of quality youth projects within the programme Erasmus+. The results an conclusion of the CME will have impact on the improvement of partnership formation which will motivate the participants for mutual collaboration. Furthermore, they will validate the quality of the developed activities within the analyzed and intervened sectors. As a follow up of the CME we hope for a future implementation of this networking project in the construction of a strategic partnership which aims to promote networking between youth associations and, moreover, for the creation of a common portal where each partner can enter their international mobility experiences under the Erasmus+ program and to show their results and feedbacks, so as to share useful materials of the organizations connected with their work. The strategies and the developed agreements during the projects will also guarantee the long-term sustainability of the project´s impact.
