"Let's build bridges" is an individual long-term EVS project. We plan to host our volunteer in Nevers, France, from 1st June 2016 to 31st May 2017. In addition to partner organisations that are absolutely necessary for the project - Host organisation / coordinating organisation and sending organisation -, the project will involve a local radio from a high school called Bac FM, and many other partners of the municipality of Nevers (youth sector and national education partners, local media).The main objectives of the project are:- Better inform young people about the issues that affect them- Enhance the international experiences and civic commitment of youth in Europe- Promoting open-mindedness and tolerance through better knowledge of other cultures.The essential values that we wish to transmit through our actions are altruism, tolerance, respect, solidarity and humanism.We are primarily looking for a volunteer who shares these same values, want to focus on and who likes communicating with others.The activities carried out concern the media, youth, Europe, mobility. It is a matter of writing articles, designing and animating radio shows, making video records and producing information materials (posters, flyers...).In this project we expect:- that the youth in our territory are better informed about international mobility opportunities, locally proposed activities in which they can engage,- that the activities and commitment of young people from our territory - but not only - in terms of citizenship, solidarity, etc. are valued in the local population and beyond,- that it will participate to develop a society full of respect, tolerance, open-mindedness and humanism.
