Lernmobilitäten zur Erweiterung der Lehr- und Lernkompetenzen
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

At the Ederseeschool an increased need has been identified that heterogeneous conditions of the students must be taken into account. The planned job shadowing measures are supposed to achieve the following goals: Advancing knowledge in student-activating teaching and learning methods and autonomous learning and work, expansion of the repertoire of methods for the differentiation and individualisation of teachers. Because of the coeducation of elementary (Hauptschule) and secondary (Realschule) students in the composite classes (classes 5-8) differentiation has become necessary. The increasing number of pupils with an immigrant background and inadequate language skills makes the learning groups increasingly heterogeneous. Therefore, we hope the job shadowing activities at partner schools which in turn have extensive experience in these areas, will effect many impulses. In the partner schools in Belgium, Spain and Finland, the 4 participants (two of them in Finland) will specifically observe lessons and evaluate it with the partner schools. The results are documented and the partner schools will receive feedback. The participants will summarize the results in a final report . At the Ederseeschool the results will be dissaminated and will be widely used in teachers conferences and the subjects curricula. Subsequently, in-school concepts are developed, whose goal is to implement the specialized teaching. Types of differentiation, individualization, personal responsibility education and team teaching are to be applied in the teaching of inclusion and composite classes. The long term goal is to improve the quality of teaching.
