LEASYS – The E.U. Training Systems and the Lifelong Learning

The project aims at the development of best practice and innovative models and methods addressing experts, teachers and trainers acting in lifelong learning processes. The main objectives are the elaboration of a shared training model protoype based on the “Experience approach methodology”, comparison and adaptation of existing models, and the application of this method to unemployed, employed in phase of reconvertion and to young people in access to the labour market. Target groups are experts, teachers and trainers operating in the public/private education and training systems on LLL (Lifelong Learning). Other target groups are young people that left or risk to leave the school and looking for a job, professionals at risk to lose their job, and unemployed and not employed people. Planned activities are: (1) an analysis of the existing LLL state in the partner countries, (2) the development of instruments in form of print and IT, -a website for online communication for partners as well as for the public, (3) exchange and valorisation of good LLL practices and methods, (4) adaptation of these on an European level. Planned results are (mainly in IT and EN, in print, CD-Rom and IT): (1) a training model and (2) guidelines for the innovation of methods, (3) Reports on the evaluation of these results, (4) evaluation courses, and – dissemination materials (also in partner languages. Valorisation will be done by the wide partner networks, mainly by internet, website for private and public purposes, meetings, print materials, etc. The planned impact in short term will be the improvement of competences of LLL processes for the target groups. Planned long term impact: the consolidation and application of methods and instruments in the partner and other European countries, the adaptation of the partner models and the improvement of the whole VET sector.
