Through this Project of Receiving Volunteers, Auryn Youth Association has given continuity to the EVS experience we began two years ago We have interelated organizations who work with young people from different countries to develop strategies of mutual understanding and respect towards the cultural and social differences found in Europe. The main objective of this project, entitled LEARNING TOGETHER +, has been that of promoting European youth participation in different volunteering activities at Auryn Association. Additionally, we have promoted intercultural education from the idea of non formal education and learning; also we have fostered solidarity and tolerance among young people to improve social cohesion in Europe. The project has also promoted the cooperation and exchange of good practices among youth organizations at a European level. Through the support to the initiatives proposed by youngsters and the start-up of activities with the educational team of the association, we have strengthened innovation, creativity and artistic and cultural entrepreneurship. The project was developed in the city of Leon, receiving three volunteers from Italy, Turkey and Armenia respectively. Such volunteers developed their volunteering activities in the different projects carried out with the children, teenagers and youngsters of the city of León in the Association. Additionally, we used an active and participative methodology, favouring the learning process of the volunteers and promoting the planning-action-reflection in the development of the activities. This project LEARNING TOGETHER +,had as aim the promotion of equity and inclusion, providing the access of young people who come from disadvantaged environements and less opportunities compared with their equals. For this reason, one of the people who took part in the project had economic and geographical difficulties. Additionally, the three participants were unemployed. Finally, it is important to note the dissemination and explotation of results as one of the principal areas of the project. We offered the sending organizations the opportunity to communicate and share the results obtained thanks to the project, increasing the impact of this type of projects, improving their sustainability and proving the importance of the ERASMUS+ Program. The project lasted for 15 months and the EVS volunteers developed their tasks throughout 10 months.
