LEARNING LABS FOR THE TRANSFER OF LLL STRATEGIES
Start date: Mar 1, 2011,

Our proposal is the result of the fact that knowledge and expertise regarding the development and implementation of LLLS is irregular distributed at European level and it is often fragmented, so that it cannot easily be used or transferred to other contexts. Communication between relevant stakeholders (both at national /regional and at transnational level) is difficult, and information regarding recurring problems and challenges, as well as embrace solutions, is not sufficiently disseminated. It will be necessary, therefore, strengthening transnational cooperation between institutions active in the field of LLL to promote the exchange of innovative and successful policies and strategies among countries. The main results of LABS2LEARN are: a descriptive report about eight NLLS in different European contexts identifying the difficulties and factors of success of these practices; transfer and implementation four innovative good LLL experience (one within each participant country) and as a result, a Compendium of good and innovative LLL practices; develop a web site, which will function both as a communication tool within the partnership and as a forum for the promotion and the dissemination of project outcomes; a Network, that will guarantee a direct and sustainable conversion of findings to improve the development and implementation of NLLS on regional, national and cross border level; 4 open session seminar and bilateral meetings with local decision makers in all the participant countries. All these results will be in ES/EN/LT/RO/FR.The partners, besides having a wide experience in implementing NLLS, will keep a strong communication with stakeholders involved in the development and implementation of NLLS in each country (SWOT, Thematic Workshops…).The impact is double: through the development and the methodology used, new communication channels among the stakeholders related with the NLLS are opened and encouraged; through the exploitation of the outcomes, the local authorities are allowed to implement a comprehensive NLLS, avoiding or decreasing the problems or difficulties, and strengthening the good practices.
