In partnership with Inchicore collegeof Further Education, Dublin, Ireland gives students from Health Care Program, Björknäsgymnasiet, Boden have the opptunity to spend part of their workplacebased learning (APL) in another European country. The aim is to create opportunites and develop a long-term exchange. We are currently seeking funding to implement workplace-based learning for our students during a two-year period 2015-2014. We plan to send students in spring 2016 and spring 2017. Through work experiences (APL) the students developes their knowledge and experience. both personally, professionally, and increase their opportunities for employment in the European labor. Futhermore , international work is a way to raise the status and quality of the vocational programs in the upper seconday school. Björknäsgymnasiet will also receive students from Inchicore College that make of their professional practice in the north of Sweden.
