This is a mobility project for the students of the third and fourth grade in Cork, Ireland. The students, that are involves in the mobility programme, are tourism technicians. During the time of mobility, the students will be on probation work in various companies in Cork that involve their profession. During the time of mobility, besides gaining experience in their work field, the students will be able to use a variety of technology and instruments a variety that is used in Ireland and compare the same technology and instruments with the ones that are used in Croatia. This experience will help the students see the difference in the work environment help the students see the difference in the work environment and the professional conduct in Irish companies, also they will be able to associate and learn new work interactions in a completely new environment. This way, our students will enhance their knowledge and abilities in a technical and technological sense, and also gain self-confidence in work and improve their communication skills and perfect their knowledge of the English language in general. This experience will greatly increase the possibility of getting a job after finishing school. During their stay in Ireland, the students will be situated in Irish families and will have the opportunity to get to know the Irish lifestyle culture and people in general. During the time of mobility the students will be doing work that correspond their education and experience. The main goal of this project is the gain of new personal and professional experiences and abilities whilst staying in Cork and working for Irish companies. Furthermore, this project is trying to enhance the level of practical knowledge and skill that will be usable in the EU work field. Being located in Irish families, the goal of the project is to point out the difference of lifestyles in a multicultural world , to learn to respect other cultures and traditions, to raise the tolerance bar and to improve their ability of communication, but also to enhance their knowledge of foreign languages.The expected results are the following:- gain of new skills, abilities and knowledge- enhanced employability- improved foreign language competences- higher level of self-confidence and self-respect- enhancement of communication skills- enhanced intercultural awareness- higher independence and learning how to manage new situations- bette awareness of the European project and the EU values- gain of a new life experienceThe expected duration of the mobility is 2 weeks..Career Training Intership which we had a tremendous pleasure working with in the past, hosts families for candidates as well as companies where students will have the opportunity to successfully do their practical training.The example of the organizations in which the students will be probation:Quality Hotel Yoghal Silver Spring Moran Hotel Radisson Blu Hotel &Spa Cork The Commons Inn Life Time Lab Springfort Hall HotelClarion Hotel After doing the pactical training the participant is given a Certificat with a mark of his work, Europass Mobility Document and a possible recommendation, which will increase their employability at domastic and EU work market.Taking part in this project will increasse the motivation of students and teachers in terms of future (formal/informal) forms of education or professional improvment after spending time abroad.Making this project possible will, beyond any doubt, activate changes concerning the modernisation of education and international co-operation, which will contribute a great deal to the quality of work and encourage life-long learning as well as increase the motivation of both students and teachers of Ekonomska škola Požega in their everyday work environment.
