Learn, Exchange and Transmit

Learn, Exchange and Transmit (LET) is an initiative based on an inclusive learning model that encompasses all aspects of the learning experience, within a partnership of six non-for profit organizations active in the field of volunteering and cultural education across Europe. LET proposes an international learning process in which each partner will be able to learn, exchange, reflect, implement and transmit the acquired knowledge on the issues of common interest.1. Learning – adult learners will participate in a learning process of six trans-national sessions, dealing with issues related to community building, working with volunteers, management and successful involvement in civil society, understanding, relating and promoting cultural identity and differences. Each meeting will be hosted in a different country (or part of a country) and will include experiencing and learning about local customs and traditions. In addition there will be the opportunity to undergo language courses. 2. Exchanging: The opportunity to cooperate and exchange, sharing best innovative practices, increasing the number and improving the quality of the relations and interactions among the participating organizations, and fostering cooperation among them.3. Reflecting: A self-reflection process of each organization relating to its own activities and to the relevance of the training. 4. Implementing: Putting learning into practice by implementing two projects in two fields: working with volunteers, and interfaith relationships.5. Transmitting: Creating a structure through which content and insights from the learning are transmitted within each organization to other members, and among the larger learning community, ensuring the democratic dissemination of knowledge.
