By creating a common cross-border information network and preparing to jointhe EU Rural Carrefours network, a new impetus may be given to economic andcultural co-operation between the border areas of this region. The foundationused the support to create an information network, a social, economic, cultural databaseand an integrated website. It also prepared a feasibility study of co-operation. In orderto boost efficiency, a co-operation agreement was concluded by the members andbackground institutions of the network, and then their association joined the nationalinstitutional system. Trainings and courses were also organised within the framework ofthe project, the programme and subject material of which is accessible on the website.
