Our project ´s "Lappilainen nuori, juuret Sodankylässä katse maailmalle -tietotaito taskussa" aim is innovating development in school´s teaching methods, the curriculum and learning enviroments in both local and international level. The training of our school staff members by the Erasmus+ mobilities increase our knowledge of cultures, languages and diverse teaching methods. The project is part of international and ICT-strategy of our local board of education. The strategies are parts of the Curriculum 2016 (The National Curriculum reform).Our curriculum work started in Spring 2013 and has developed well. In Autumn 2014 we shall start the actual writing, so all the education of this project will benefit our future work. Twelve members of our staff will participate in these mobilities in this project (teachers and principals). Our duty is to bring the European dimension closer. Through Erasmus program teachers create contacts and collaborate with European teachers. This network of teachers will create pupil networks and life long relations. Our aim is to create our children opportunities to see global collaboration and development. They will become more liberal and tolerant to different cultures. All the members of our staff will bring the knowhow and knowledge to our working community and the local society. The joy of work, the skill and the international collaboration transfers through trained teachers to our teachers and even further.
