lanet of ideas - cross-border transfer of knowledge in the area of attracting investments for development of border tourism (IPBU.03.01.00-58-602/11)

General aim of the project is better cooperation of Polish, Belarusian and Ukrainian subjects working in tourism in terms of preparation and conduction of joint cross-border projects by means of joint exchange of information and experiences. This aim is going to be achieved in 3 years after projects completion. The index chosen to measure the level of aims completion will be the number of jointly conducted cross-border projects in tourism by representatives of target group in 3 years after projects completion. It is assumed that this number will grow by 3% in comparison to 2011. Implementation of the project will establish several activities, for example projects offices on both sides of the border, meeting of partners in Poland, e-Partnership Internet portal and opening conference in Belarus.Activities taken during the project are directed at transfer of knowledge in terms of preparation, realization, management, settlement and evaluation of tourist projects to non-governmental organizations, self-governments and other subjects operating within tourist branch (e.g. higher education institutions, tourist information centres, etc.). As a result, being part of the project, organizations staff will be qualified to properly apply and manage tourist projects co-financed from EU funds. Simultaneously, the access to knowledge gained for a target group is assumed, not only by means of publication but also e-Partnership Internet portal formed. Cross-borderness of the project will then be noticed in joint procedure establishment and transfer of best practices and patterns concerning application and management in terms of tourist projects.
