PARTICIPANTS IN THE PROJECT: - HBLFA Francisco Josephinum - 10 students of the 3rd year - 1 partner in the UK - 7 Ppartners in Spain REQUIREMENT: In our capacitiy as a secondary agricultural college our students receive theoretical as well as practical knowledge of agriculture. In their third year at our college they are taught a subject "practical work at a farm" in which they are prepared for the day-to-day work on farms. This mobility project should enable 10 students to gain practical experience of 8 or respectively 14 weeks on our partner farms / enterprises / college in either Spain or the UK. This should also improve their knowledge of the local language. AIM of the PROJECT: * possibility of doing the compulsory agricultural internship abroad (Spain and England) * continuing quality management: - selection (best possible grades at half term) - questioning of participants, their parents and of project partners - consulting with language teachers * continuing quality management: - construction of a structured plan with detailed description of the single work packages and tasks - creating of an environmental analysis of the project, as well as analising the risks. * The project plans a lingual and cultural preparation for the students during the year in their Spanish / English lessons and / or in in form of a weekend workshop and an intensive language week. * All partners will guarantee that the students will be taken into families. EXPECTED RESULTS: Apart from gaining practical work experience, students should improve the fluency of their language (Spanish or English) Further they can experience new partnerships and relationships with our partners and their families and hence get to know the European dimension. WHERE and WHEN: 3 students will experience their mobility in the UK and 7 students in Spain. The students going to the UK plan to start on the 1st or 6th of June 2014 (for 8 weeks). The students going to Spain plan their start on the 02nd, the 12th and 16th June 2014 (for either 8 or 14 weeks, as required in their curriculum).
