Land and Sea: a Cultural and Educational Bond between Dieppe and Lewes engages two communities in a programme of educational activities, focussing on the work of Henry Moore. Through visits and workshops, students will have the opportunity to learn more about the landscape of the crossborder region while increasing their knowledge and understanding of contemporary sculpture, technology, digital and multi-media in the arts and communication. Curators and art educators from both sides of the Channel will work together to devise the workshops and to organise a joint display of some of the work of Henry Moore. This will be a valuable educational tool providing inspiration and focus for the workshops while attracting a wider audience to participate in the activities on offer.
