Screening the health status of the population in the area of the participating institutes, using mobile examining instruments. Purchasing vehicle to carry the mobile instruments and to ensure the place for particular health examinations. Achievements: The regions involved in the project are very underdeveloped compared to the European average. This is also reflected in the life expectancy which is 2.5 years less than usual in Hungary for men and 1.5 years lower for women. The population of the border area is very poor and disadvantaged, hardly appearing in the medical system. The aim of the project was to purchase a special medical vehicle which can go around the border area and reach these people, screen them and discover any illness they might have. It provides them an opportunity to get the necessary help and information in time. The project was related to another HUSK project whose objective was to purchase the medical tools for the vehicle.
