Lära för att leda - en ledarutbildning för KRIK-ledare
Start date: May 1, 2015, End date: Oct 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Learning to lead is a project that focuses on leadership and local team development. The project is based on a need between our Norwegian and Swedish organisations to work together with the development of our young voulonteer leaders, who are the very core of our organization that gathers thousands of young people all over Scandinavia. For many years KRIK Norway and KRIK Sweden have worked along eachother but are now taking the first steps towards a greater cooperation on qualitative development. A major goal of the project is to provide new knowledge and methods in the work with Christian blievs and sports, both through lectures and seminars, but also through a lot of experiences, conversation, community and the sharing of Norwegian and Swedish experiences. Another goal is to give participants a good exchange across country borders and a chance to get to know KRIK-youth from the neighboring country. These meetings are rewarding both individually but also for the development of both organizations through informal learning. A third objective is to let the participants to look in the organiziation to get a greater view of how it’s working, that they are an important part of it, and to see the international width of the organization. Methods that will be used are lectures, seminars, group discussions, sports activities, games, informal meetings and fellowship. The results we expect are inspired leaders who have acquired new skills and techniques in their personal leadership, international and cultural experiences, and learned more about the organization that they are a part of. This is knowledge that in both short and long term will be to great use in the local KRIK-work, and at major national camps arranged by KRIK. In the longer term, we get persons who have acquired valuable knowledge and experience to bring to the national and international job market.
